The whole time I was there, they tried to get me to give up my baby for adoption. Month after month. I had to take care of the fake baby three times, set on colic. I was 20 (the age where you're almost "too old" to go to school) but Helen wouldn't allow me to attend. Even in the delivery room I was pressured to give up my baby.

I never did. I'm not a quitter.
