Would highly recommend taking a guided tour with a Yeoman Warder Guard, they offer a great depth of knowledge about the Tower and cover a lot of historical content in an easy-to-absorb manner. Our guide Billy was fantastic at handling crowds and getting a few laughs out of the audience. The lines for the Crown Jewels were understandably quite long, but all other areas of the Tower were quite easy to navigate and less congested.
