We were there with a party of 6, 3rd weekend in June. My Aunt had passes but she could only get her half price tickets if we waited in line to buy them, she couldn't get them online. So we waited for 30 minutes. Security was quick & efficient to get through. Saw the alligator feedings, kids thought it was pretty cool. We had the Penguin Encounter at 11:30, wish there was more times for that. This was the best experience! We got to go above where the penguins are & they came up very close. Then we went inside their building to learn about them. They had some great info on the penguins. We got to touch a jar of feathers. Then we went outside & took turns petting a penguin. They only thing that would have made it better would have been to hold a penguin, according to my middle child. We ate lunch at Serengeti Overlook Restaurant. Food was good. They wanted $3 for drinks so bring your own or have the souvenir cup. Could see animals while we ate. They have a great animal show with pets & other. At Treetop Trails kids can run around & get wet. Great way to cool off. The train of course brings you up close & personal to animals. The kangaroo walkabout & the aviaries are great places to pet animals. There is also the Sesame Street kids area. Great for little kids. However trying to find a first aid in that area was next to impossible. I got stung & had to ask an employee where it was because there was no sign. Had to go down an unlit hallway only to find it locked at 8:30pm. The park was open until 10. The nice employee at the food place next door gave me a glove with ice to help with the swelling. We really loved all the trees to give shade throughout the park. Wish we could have visited 2 days in a row.
