Got a fair deal on a good car here. I don't think anyone gets great deals on cars anymore. Dealers don't ask any less than they ever have. They just know if they all band together and tell you to take a hike if you attempt heavy negotiations, you have no place else to get cars. Not that it's their fault. Blame CarMax for the way it is. I will say it cuts down on the sleaziness of the salespeople and makes their jobs far easier when they make flat rates when selling any car on the lot. All that being said, the buying experience here wasn't terrible but definitely time consuming as buying a car usually is. They made a very few small consolations to help lessen the blow of being ripped off buying a new car. Sugar coat it however you like. No dealership is perfect simply due to the business they run. The automotive industry as a whole is a corrupt mess, but these people are just trying to do their jobs and be decent human beings. You know what you're getting into when you walk through the doors but at least the people at AutoNation lube it up real nice for you first.
