The Roman Theater of Orange, built under the reign...

The Roman Theater of Orange, built under the reign of Caesar Augustus in the 1st century, is one of the best-preserved Roman theaters in the world. It still preserves the scenic facade wall with its original elevation: 103 meters long by 37 meters high. Together with the Arc de Triomphe in the same town, the Theater was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1981.
