Read about this winery in the Wine Spectator. Track them down online and scheduled the tasting. Their tasting room is at Casa Mateus near Villareal. They scheduled us a tour of the estate which is the picture on the front of Mateus wine from our younger years in the 70s. Great wines at an excellent value! You must schedule in advance. The manor house was fascinating also. Well worth a side trip from the Douro.
