You can take a walk along the embankment and experience this tour, either before you take the Tower of London tour or afterwards. There are plenty of coffee shops and kiosks to get food and drinks. Don't rush this by as just a 3 hour attraction as you can spend the whole day there. There is plenty of seating available down by the embankment or you can sit on the outside wall.
