I have used my local Redbox, and one in particular...

I have used my local Redbox, and one in particular redbox for nearly 10 years. I also was a member of Redbox Instant when they had a partnership with Verizon.

Ive never once had any issues until recently. I rented a red box (Jumanji: The Next Level), and returned it the next day. I waited until the returned screen flashed and walked away (as it is sometimes full).

To my surprise when my credit card bill came I was billed $32.00 and they stayed that I kept it for 16 days, amd never placed it back in the box.

I called Redbox amd asked for an audit or a contact of the person who was in charge of the box. Needless to say I was stonewalled. The customer service rep was overseas, and did not know how it worked when Ipressed him for more info.

Ultimately I disputed it with American Express three separate times, each time it was rebilled. They only told me that I didnt prove that it wasnt returned.

Just be careful when using this machine, or any redbox for that matter. Not sure if it was stolen, stuck or what happened.
