Magical time at Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester last night. We had the Printemps taster menu with a bottle of 1995 Chateau l'Evangile, Pomerol, and a couple of glasses of 1996 Chateau d'Yquem, Sauternes. Everything was absolutely perfect. French cuisine at its best. So simple, everything revolving around the quality of the product. Elegance. Pure perfection. And the team is absolutely fabulous. We had a great chat with Chris the head Sommelier who is a fantastic being. Highly recommended!
