Anna Roberts Review of Cattlemens Steakhouse

I was told on the phone that they are first come, first serve..no reservations. We showed up around 8:00pm and the place was PACKED! They sent us upstairs to the waiting room with a light up pager for an 45 min to 1 hr and 15 min wait. Upstairs there's a bar to get drinks with a tab-open option. It didn't feel like 30 min and we were being sat at a closed booth near the kitchen. Zack, our waiter was awesome! He fixed us right up with our order and we wanted to try everything! Most we had to take home. First, we ordered potato skins for our appetizer...yum! They were so soft and delicious. Then, we both got the blue ribbon special ribeye steaks medium well that also comes with a salad with house dressing and huge rolls, loaded baked potatoe, a side of steamed broccoli with cheese sauce and strawberry shortcake. We were stuffed!! and we only ate a potato skin, bite of the broccoli to taste, the roll and steak..all the rest had to be bagged up. I think we almost broke a $100 bill or even over with the tip, but even with that and the wait this steakhouse is totally worth it. They're open till midnight and they said it usually slows down between 8:30-9:00 pm.. probably the best time to go in the evenings if you don't want to wait.
