I was astonished by my experience here today. I have celiac disease and must be strictly gluten free. When I was ordering, I let them know that and they took it very seriously. When my salad was delivered by a manager, it had croutons on it. I told him I had to be STRICTLY gluten free or I would get very sick. He apologized. He came back with a "new" salad, and explained that the chef was just making another salad so was able to make this one gluten free. Not true. There were crumbs and and a crouton that they "missed". For a kitchen to not take food allergies seriously is a BIG problem. I assumed the chef was at fault, but when I took it back to the manager, and heard him ask the chef to make a new salad, it was clear that this was not the case. To intentionally lie about significant food allergies is absolutely unacceptable. That manager should be fired.
