Good ambience, great food

Good ambience, great food
But there was a bitter experience today
My child was sleeping and we were having lunch in the common area (none of the other guests were present in the common area), I had ordered some pastries, they served it nicely
But after serving one of the rude manager came and told us that we cannot have food here, and even after we said sorry for that, he kept on saying that we cannot have food there
We asked if we should shift from here to the restaurant? He said that we can have the food but it's not allowed, I respect their rules but a hotel with such great reputation must always make sure that the guests are comfortable, after all rules are made for making sure that the guests are comfortable. They should understand that we were having lunch here only because the little one was sleeping, else we would have opted for Mint Leaf (their buffet zone). They didn't even care to provide a small blanket even after asking them like 3 to 4 times, what kind of 4 star hotel does that? Hotels are made for the comfort of the guests not for having them to go through such petty experiences, really sad on their part to do this
I am a frequent visitor of Tuli but because of this incident I might not host any further parties here
