I recently attended a coding workshop organized by a company that focuses on empowering women in the tech industry. The workshop was held at an online platform, and I found the overall experience to be average. The website provided detailed information about the event and registration process, which was helpful. However, the workshop lacked interactive activities and real-time assistance. The mentors were knowledgeable, but the sessions felt rushed and did not allow for much individualized learning. The company’s mission is admirable, but I feel there is room for improvement in terms of workshop organization and providing a more inclusive learning environment. While I appreciate their efforts in promoting diversity within the tech community, I left the workshop with a sense of wanting more hands-on practice and individualized support.
