I called the few asbestos abatement companies in Kelowna as I had suspected asbestos in my old house and we were preparing it for demolition. From the moment I spoke to Brent at Greyhawk, I had a good feeling about this company. I had never had abatement done before, and Brent patiently took the time to explain the steps and procedures. He treated me with respect and did not assume I knew what I was doing, nor did he treat me like I'm an idiot. I feel that important to mention as being a woman, this was not the case with a competitive company. I decided to go with Greyhawk once I had confirmation of asbestos in the ceiling texture and drywall compound in my old house. I had asked friends in the construction industry and they confirmed that Greyhawk has been around in Kelowna for years and they were very professional in their fields and always a pleasure to work with. Brent was excellent to work with as well. He stayed in contact with me as to their upcoming work schedule. I felt comfortable that their quoted price, although a little higher than a competitor's company, would not increase, nor would 'a can of worms' be discovered during the abatement. And I was right. The employees who performed the abatement were extremely respectful of my old home. They treated it well and appreciated the history it contained in the walls.
I had the pleasure of working with Greyhawk in June of 2017. This review is written a little later than I intended, but I will not forget the pleasure of working with Greyhawk. I have recommended them to friends. L Poitras
