If you re paying online You must pay before the 5th in to avoid additional charges. I started trying to pay on the 3rd and could not access the website. I was on vacation in the Caribbean so I called them on the 4th and they reset the website after a 10 minute wait during which they confirmed that there is a $12 fee for paying by phone at anytime. I have mailed my check by the 5th previously and not had it cashed until the 16th. I really think this is a horrible way to deal with mortgage payments
