Very disappointing experience with this company. I was quoted for a a new metal roof for a small extension on a single family home. That part was fine and the price was acceptable. What was not acceptable was the aggressive and in my opinion rude attitude that followed. They asked me to sign a contract which I did and at the same time I pointed out to them that we were still waiting for the permit to be issued by the building official and that we wouldn't be ready for the roof for several months. At which point they said they wanted a 25% deposit immediately as they wanted to schedule the work. I pointed out several times that we could not schedule the work as we were awaiting a permit for the full build and that it was way to early to schedule as the roof was months away. The also wanted me to fill out an extensive credit application. I consider this to be absolutely ridiculous overkill. The roof was priced at less than $8000 and they were asking for 25% several months in advance, another 25% as they started and now they want a lengthy credit application for the less than $4k that would be owed?? I don't think so. We are dealing with half a dozen or more subcontractors on this job and nobody has taken this high handed attitude. Very happy to take my business elsewhere. I only hope for the sake of others that their roofing skills are better than their customer service skills.
