We visited this resort for our wedding with a large group. Our wedding was beautiful and better than I could ever have imagined it - thank you Rosa and all the others who are part of the wedding coordination for your hard work, everything went perfectly. We also used the spa for our hair and make up and the girls all did a wonderful job, above and beyond what I had expected - thank you to Emma and everyone in the spa. As this was a special event, we opted for an oceanfront suite and the room was beautiful (normally this isn t something we would upgrade to as we don t spend a lot of time in our room, but the view was beautiful). The resort is very large, has one adult only pool which is nice if you need some quiet. I found we were always able to find lounge chairs together (6 or so) which I m not used to because typically those fill up by early morning so I m glad we were able to always have somewhere to sit. Please stay away from the time share, this is a consistent and ongoing issue which I was clear before our arrival that our over 50 guests not be bothered by this. The biggest issue we had here was the reservations for la carte dinners. We tried to make reservations online the week before we arrived as advised, and could not get one and barely a response (some people in our group had no issues). As the bride and groom, it would have been nice to get at least one reservation. On Thursday we went to the beach party which was a nice change from the buffet and had a DJ playing music and you could dance on the beach. Overall, we had a really great time as did our group. As a tip: try to get a room on the grand side as this is the newer area of the resort.
