John Wai Kung Fu Academy is an amazing establishment for learning and preserving the Choy Lay Fut tradition. I started at the academy as a young child and left due to other occupations. Now, 8 years later I'm back and I feel right at home. The academy has added Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, Sanshou, Tai Chi and bootcamp since I left, and the kickboxing class has taken on a more fitness oriented curriculum. I do every available class once a day, and have been doing so since I re-enrolled 2 weeks ago. I am addicted to this place through-and-through. The trainers are all absurdly friendly, and as someone already said they all know you by first name. If anyone were to ask me where they should learn southern kung-fu arts, Jiu-Jitsu, Sanshou or even Tai Chi, I would be unwavering in my aspiration to send them directly to this amazing school. The school only has one real issue, it doesn't let you stay there all day and night. 9.5/10
