My husband and I celebrated our first anniversay in France and while touring we stopped at the Chateau de Pommard for lunch.

Our guide was very friendly and informative, while going through the cellars, I learned how wine was stored, keeping track of the year it was harvest and then labeled.

I enjoyed the small art gallery and sculptures in the courtyard. After the tour we tasted a few of the wines which were harvest from previous years. We brought back a few cases of reds.

Especially enjoyed our lunch, each course was paired with wine - tasting the favors of each wine, not to mention how tasty the food was as well.

I recommend the Chateau de Pommard to anyone wanting a unique experience.
