Skirball center has free parking for visitors. They are located near the Getty museum(6min) and it has little garden. From the parking lot, you can walk through little garden and enjoy the beautiful plants. As you approach to the Main gate, you will find building with glass doors. When I went in, front desk person directed us to ticket place. We arrived early so we went inside the store and looked at many beautiful things they sell. One of the item was art work done about Proverb 31 and was decorated with various colored glass(It cost several hundreds of dollars). Throughout the center, there were many people helping us to be directed to Noah's Ark place. One lady gave very fun story telling for kids. Noah's ark was brilliantly made from all the recycled things. I was so surprised how they made the place look so artistically. Kids enjoyed so much! They ended up spending full 90 minute which is given time from when you were admitted. They even have historical artifacts displayed. I loved time here. I would Highly recommend this place. If you can't reserve online tickets due to sold out, you can still visit there and buy the ticket onsite.
