The worst service I have ever experienced at a Michelin 3 Star. The name Alain Ducasse used to represent the epitome of fine dining, but my recent visits to his Dorchester, Plaza Athenee & Le Meurice restaurants represent a trilogy of failure. Poor service, inconsistent cuisine, and in the case of the latter a desecration of the magnificent 18th century opulence of the dining room with chairs better suited to a McDonalds. The bitterness of the current state of Alain Ducasse restaurants sours the sweetness of his original culinary brilliance. Instead go to Ramsay, or The Ledbury, or Marcus, or The Fat Duck, or The Waterside Inn ... anywhere but here.
