Honestly deserves negative points..

First of all, I ve worked in the service industry for 10 years+ and was recently laid off because of the COVID-19 outbreak.. I filed for unemployment for the first time in my entire life, after living in Florida as a loyal taxpayer for over a decade. After 3 weeks of waiting and countless hours attempting to access the Florida DEO website I was denied my claim, along with almost half a million other struggling blue collar workers in Florida. Not only is this website, we as citizens in this state pay taxes for, almost completely inaccessible with constant crashes and server overloads, but the automated phone system literally hangs up on you over and over again. Now the state wants to pass the buck to the federal government by denying struggling citizens unemployment and forcing them to apply for another federal unemployment application after already being denied. I am, for one, sickened by the fact I ve payed my taxes to this institution for years only to find they have completely abandoned us in our time of need.

This is a broken system.
