Booked thru Expedia which indicated that small pets were allowed. After driving from Chicago we arrived to discover that cats were not allowed, though we had stayed at Westins before with our cat. I tried to explain that our mistake was because of the information on Expedia. The manager refused to let us check in and as the situation became contentious he called the police. The police were very understanding and professional, but a bit confused by the whole thing. We ended up staying elsewhere. Will never stay at a Westin again.
