I have mixed feelings about the Chemical Biochemical & Environmental Engineering department at UMBC. While the faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, the curriculum could be more rigorous. Some courses lack depth, and I wish there were more opportunities for hands-on learning. Additionally, the department could improve its support for research and internships. Overall, it's an average department, but there is room for improvement.
