What an amazing place. On a weekend trip to London we found ourselves with a full day that was dry and sunny. So we headed to the Tower. I had read a few reviews and knew it would be busy but was suprised by the constant flow of people arriving. You can go on free tours or just have a wander by yourself like we did. There are audio tours too of all languages. We spent a good 4 maybe 5 hours here. The queue to the Crown jewels took around 30minutes to get through the doors and then another 20 before you see the actual items. The most interesting place was the armoury in the keep. Absolutely fascinating and a journey through time. Make sure you head in!
