My appointment was just canceled for this afternoo...

My appointment was just canceled for this afternoon with about 2 hours of notice. This doesn't help me at all considering I had planned my afternoon around this and have already taken time off of work. The reason given is that they are experiencing a high number of calls because people are without AC. I don't believe this qualifies as an emergency when the temperature is not supposed to be above 75 degrees for the next three days.
