I am sure every patient is different. As a 59 year old man,.whom after seeing a few doctors over my lifetime. I was a little taken back with my first visit with Dr. Patel. You would expect questions about your past medical history. Which my past is full of history.The question that stood out beyond any other question was, and I quote " what is your sexual preference" what kind of question is that? She also got very stirn with me after i tried to make lite of such a question. After that question, i was expecting to hear (do you own a gun). I shrugged it off as the question new Dr's ask.
After a few visits I do mean a few. four or less. Plus being rushed though everyone of them. (never being able to get to all my concerns). She drops me as a patient. Maybe my past history was a little overwhelming for Dr. Patel to handle. Which is fine with me, because I only want a knowledgeable, patience, understanding and caring physician to handle my medical needs.
As I said at the beginning everyone is different. Just offering a little insight of my experience with Dr. Patel.
