I've been to Second City dozens of times, but IO never fails to outshine the more-famous troupe. A lot of the performers actually work at both, but IO is much more cerebral (and mostly family-friendly.) Highly recommend Improvised Shakespeare and Whirled News, but they both have a history of selling out, so buy your tickets in advance.
