I went here for 2nd grade, about the first or second year that this school opened. I don't remember any friends. I don't remember any amazing teachers or happy memories.

What I do remember is the constant beratement by teachers, the school administration banning the use of all playground balls, the non-stop yelling between parents and administration at the very strict carpool pickup lane, the carpool admins physically hurting me when I wasn't following directions perfectly...

I remember coming home every day for the last two months of school crying. Every day I woke up in tears. It broke my mom's heart and she took me out of school for the last two weeks because it simply was not worth making me hate school over one horrible academy.

Maybe things have changed. Maybe they haven't. What will never change is how this school completely ruined my 2nd grade and how grateful I am that I left. Since leaving this school I have learned to love school. I ended up enrolling in Entheos Academy, Elk Ridge Middle School, and then Bingham High School. All amazing choices. I have graduated with a 4.0 and honors, and am now nearly finished with a Bachelor's in CS at the U of U after which I will be working for Facebook in Seattle. I credit none of this to Navigator Pointe, the worst school I have ever attended.
