I recently saw Steel Magnolias. I'm not really into chick flicks...but this movie is the exception. It's my favorite movie....ever. The movie was remade and it was ok...no comparison to the original. No one can compare to Sally Field's outburst in the cemetery. Makes me choke up thinking about it.

Now with that being said....I was super excited to see Steel Magnolias being performed at the Theatre in Munster. I was slightly skeptical but still very excited. These ladies did a fantastic job...the equivalent cemetary scene that was actually in the beauty shop was performed so well. So well, that a few tears slipped out. So hats off the ladies who performed on March 23, 2018. It was fantastically done.
