Review of Sim Local

So I bought what i thought was an EE sim at manche...

So I bought what i thought was an EE sim at manchester airport WHSmiths but in the corner of the packaging it said "simlocal". Lady at the counter took my money and said she'd activated it and I should just put it in my phone.
I bought the sim because i needed a working phone right away. While waiting for my train i inserted the sim. It was not active. So I continued my journey hopping from Free wifi to Free wifi, using skype for phone calls and rebooting the phone periodically but no dice, I thought it was the phone at first but my australian sim worked fine (but very very expensive)
And internet searches on troubleshooting proved the phone was ok.
A day later it still had not activated so I rang the number on the recipt at 5pm and was told nobody is there and we'll get back to you in 24 hours.
The next day when I had not recieved a call I rang EE instead and they could not activate the sim either as it was a recalled stock (old in other words) and could i take it to my local EE shop and they'll swap it out.
They were extremely helpful and sorted it all out. EE shops are everywhere in the cities so if you need a sim take your time if you can and go there, don't be in a rush to use these middlemen, they charge 10 pounds for "sim activation" which is free in store and if you have issues you're on your own.
Anyway, after another day I did not get a call but i got an email asking for information that was in the support email attached to it (DOH!) and wanting photos of recipts and so on (can you imagine how long this dance could have gone on for?) to which i replied:

As your helpdesk response was inadequate I phoned EE support they confirmed the service was unactivated, they replaced it with a new sim and it worked fine. EE customer support on the phone was instant and helped me right away.
Not "within 24 hours .
Your mobile phone support as per the recipt phone number was inadequate sorry nobody is here and we ll get back to you within 24 hours which is a far cry from the 7 seconds your literature states.
I am surprised you are in business.
I have learned a valuable lesson.
