Cruises done right! Have been with this company to Alaska in May 2017 on Safari Endeavor. The boat is ok, nothing special, but very clean, well maintained and has any equipment you might need, including basic gym equipment and 2 hot tubs.

The itinerary is rather flexible to accommodate for weather, wildlife spotting and other factors. This allowed us to see bears, humpback whales, orcas, porpoises, mountain goats, bald eagles, seals and sea lions - some multiple times in 7 days! We saw glaciers up close under a watchful eye of a Park Ranger who was on board with us as we sailed through the Glacier Bay National Park, kayaked / paddle boarded next to icebergs and waterfalls, took skiffs to tour the shorelines with very knowledgeable guides, bushwhacked with bear expert guides, did yoga before breakfast and more!

The food was delicious, inventive and varied each day - with 3 gourmet meals a day (2 of which were topped with a desert), cookies/pastry at 3pm & hors d'oeuvre with happy hour every day at 5:30pm you will get spoiled very easily.

The crew is super friendly and accommodating - every single one of the members! Since the ship is small, you will quickly learn most passenger and crew names and it all feels like a big happy family on one ship. The passenger demographic is most certainly slanted towards 60+, but we've had a few couples in mid 30s and even a 3year old :)
The price is most certainly limiting factor for most travelers, but if you can afford it, it is well worth it!

We will most certainly be back traveling with the company to other destinations!
