Exceptional manor built with French influences of the Rothschild family. We parked in their car park where there was a free bus shuttle to take you outside of the manor.
Outside were well laid lawns and gardens, with some modern art thrown into the mix plus an aviary with a small collection of unusual species.
Inside the manor, some really beautiful pieces of furniture, clocks and vases. It certainly has the 'wow factor', but don't just look at the big things, some of the smaller pieces were extraordinary. Photography was allowed in the manor but no flash photography (nice touch, not many stately homes allow you to do that).
Overall, it's definitely worth spending a whole day there.
