My mother has filed for unemployment twice over the last 4 weeks and no one from this agency will get back to her. We have called so many times and have waited, no lie, probably over 15 hours to automated voice messages only to be hung up on by the computer. I understand we are going through a global crises and there are a lot of people like mom right now but to not have any kind of response back in over 4 weeks? It's just sad and also scary how literally no one over there cares. I have also written many emails to CT DOL asking for some kind of assistance and I will let you all have your guesses as to whether I have gotten even one response back not... lol

Thank god my parents do not live paycheck to paycheck as I could not imagine how they would be feeling if they were not so financially fortunate. But still, my parents need money for their bills and feels as if their state is failing them when they always have been good citizens and paid their taxes. Now when they need some assistance, they literally cannot even get an email back much less a call.

Hopefully someone from the agency will look at this but won't get my hopes up given the experience my poor parents are going through during this time. If you need to contact me, you are more than welcome and I would greatly appreciate any help you could provide my parents during this time.
