I arrived two hours before the place closed, but they claim all tickets for the tram to the top were sold out. I visited on a Tuesday late afternoon and the place was not busy at all. I don't see why tickets would not have been available. Workers seemed unhappy to be there. It's a shame that such a famous American tourist attraction is so poorly managed. Hopefully someone can make this better someday.
