THE Tower of London is one of the places to see before you die. If not the most important sight in whole London, you will undoubtedly be overwhelmed by its thousand year-long history. Listen to one of the Beefeaters in historic uniforms at a guided tour and you will learn so much of the impressive and bloody past of the location and English history. We were lucky enough to get guided by Dave, a witty decorated Ex-Sergeant Major of Her Majesty's Army, formerly stationed in Berlin. A must-see (if not must-have) for sure are the British Crown Jewels, even a glimpse of Cullinan I and Koh-I-Noor enlighten your day. Plan at least 2 to 3 hours and better buy your tickets ahead online to save you some precious time.
