HORRIBLE service tonight; 3 waitresses <15 small tables-epidomy of inefficiency! We waited over 40 minutes from the time we finished eating and I had to ask someone else for service which took another 10 minutes. They were more concerned with clearing and setting up tables (1 couple was waiting to be seated) than servicing their existing tables. We were going to order dessert and coffee but 1st weren't asked and 2ND we had waited so long to see our waitress I figured it wasn't worth the wait. When she came by and threw our check down (and left before we could pay her)! I walked it up to pay it myself as I was sick of waiting another 10 minutes! At that point all 3 wait staff were at the register and not a 1 said thank you. A shame as the food and atmosphere are wonderful. .. the ONLY reason they got 2 stars. I told 3 couples coming in not to bother.
Update: We went again yesterday for a late lunch and it wasn't busy. I love the environment and food and was super excited they're putting the chicken fried steak on the menu. However, this time our waitress forgot part of our drink order (it was only the 2 of us) and then our meal came out - a different waitress brought our food. I said, "When is our appetizer coming?". She said no appetizer was put in, but she took care of it, apologized and explained our waitress forgot to put it in. Then the original waitress comes over and apologizes but tells us our ticket didn't go through the computer all the way. Whatever that was supposed to mean I don't know, but I know she wasn't honest. I've come to the conclusion that I should lower my expectations for this wait staff and have to stick with my review...2 visits with poor service.
