I purchase my first Dooney 30 years ago, and carried everyday for 10 years! That sold me on them because I feel the quality is worth every dollar spent and have been a loyal customer since. I purchased a Satchel and a coin purse back in June. Upon receiving them I immediately knew I did not want to keep the coin purse so I boxed it up and sent it back. I received a refund on my credit card with no problem. It was a few days later when I decided I did not want to keep the Satchel, I went on line and requested a return shipping label. I dropped the box on July 21, I waited a week before calling into Dooney's return center and was told that it was received and should see a refund within 7-10 days. So I waited and when I didn't see the credit on my credit card I called again. This time I was told it was showing up and would post to my credit card "tomorrow". Tomorrow came and went. I called once again, this time I was told, that it should have posted but it would be referred to the investigation department and someone would contact me between 24-48 hours. NOTHING! I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor or someone who could resolve my issue and was told there was no supervisor available to speak with but someone would get back with me. Here I am over 30 days later still trying to get my refund for a product that has been returned. It is a shame that after 30 years and many purchases that it comes down to this. I still believe Dooney's quality is great, however the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I have purchased my first Brahmin bag, I will see how that fairs against the Dooney I have so enjoyed carrying throughout the years.
