I love my history and have a particular interest in the Tudors, however I still found the other areas of the Towers history that I learnt about whilst there fascinating.

I had done the Beefeater tour before and did not do this time. If you have not been before would say this was a must! Respect to the Beefeater we did encounter whilst waiting to see one of the towers, as he was amazing with my 5 year old nephew, chatted with him for ages and have some fantastic photos.

I knew that the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula was not always open to the public but this time it was and you didn't have to be part of a tour to go in.

Expect it to be busy and if you are planning ahead check prices and offers online for the best deals.
