My car's transmission failed a few weeks ago and I had it towed here to get looked at and serviced. I was told initially it could be up to $3,000 to get fixed which didn't come as a surprise seeing as we weren't sure what the issue was yet. After the tests they did they discovered it wasn't a worst-case-scenario issue so it saved me some money that way, and at the same time they found one of my upper control arms had snapped recently and since they had to remove it to get to the transmission to begin with, they replaced it for me at no labor charge. They also told me they improved upon a few things within the trans which was nice. Since having my car back, it drives fantastic. I haven't had any issues with the transmission at all, it always shifts really smooth and it feels like it coasts a lot easier now. My gas mileage has improved as well. I would highly recommend taking your car here if you need transmission work done. The only little gripe I have is that it took 2 weeks to complete, but that is understandable considering the transmission needed a complete rebuild.
