Do your research parents. Adolescent treatment centers in this country (and world) are abusive and a violation of basic human rights. And they have popped up all across this nation and for DECADES have been abusing youth and conning parents into thousands of debt and lying about what is actually happening to their children. I recently watched the documentary called Kidnapped for Christ which gave me flashbacks and a sick feeling in my stomach of when I was at Lifeline. Watch the film, do a basic Google search on youth centers. Talk to survivors. Yes, we are survivors. WHY does our government allow this to happen? They don't even regulate them. Do children not have rights? Does no one care as long as companies get to make money and parents get to wash their hands of their terrible parenting, dropping off their troubled kids and abandoning them? WHY are YOU American parents allowing this to happen???
