I needed a hotel with a shuttle to the airport. I also prefer to have a hot tub available and a large room since I would be traveling with my four year old and like to have plenty of space for sleeping arrangements. Embassy suites had served us well in the past and this place looked pretty similar. So I booked it!

Check in was easy, even at an hour prior to the official check-in time. The indoor pool was actually a decent temperature and the outdoor hot tub was really hot. Loved it!

There s a gas station within walking distance if you need anything. I found that the little convenience store inside the hotel didn t have much of a selection. So the walk to the gas station was fine.

We did enjoy the happy hour. While the options of snacks (all one brand of potato chips in only three flavors) was limited compared to others we ve been to, we managed to find something good to take back to the room. We received two drink tickets which we used for club soda. Happy hour began at 5:30p and there was a line right away!

It should be noted that we visited in late November 2020 during the second Covid shut down. So the main lounge and eating area had tables with the chairs removed as you were required to take your food back to your room to eat.

Breakfast was nice. It had the classic hotel buffet trimmings, but we were served instead of serving ourselves. Fine by me! Just be prepared for a possible short line as only one person is helped at a time. We enjoyed the bacon, pancakes, eggs and yogurt.

The shuttle only runs once an hour. So I hope the time works for you and that it isn t full. You do have to schedule your shuttle upon check-in. Our shuttle to the airport in the morning arrived on time and the gentleman was very helpful. The 8a shuttle we had to ourselves (apparently the 7a was booked solid).
