My name is Frank R Palazzo, I recently purchased a Toyota Camry from Sun Toyota in Holiday Florida. This is the third new Toyota I ve purchased in the last five years, I was happy with the first two purchases not that I got a great deal, but I felt that I was dealt with fairly. I had a 2013 Toyota Tacoma which I was very happy with except for the gas mileage, after receiving letters from Sun Toyota that they could reduce my interest rate by 50 to 100%, and letters that I was due a service department rebate of over $1100 I decided to go into the dealership and see what kind of deal I could work out. I ended up purchasing the Camry because it had much better gas mileage but this was an impulse buy. The first disappointment was they did not lower my interest rate like they had stated in their letters to get me into the dealership, then when I got home and read through all the paperwork I did not receive the $1100 service department rebate, when I signed the paperwork for the vehicle my first payment was not due until July 20, 2014 which was a month a half away so I got to skip a payment. The next day the finance representative that I did my paperwork called me up and said I needed to make a payment immediately in order for the paperwork to go through and I needed to come back to the dealership to sign new paperwork the dealership is over an hour drive from my home, so I told him it would be a few days before I could get back there, I was told by the salesperson that they would refill my gas tank when I drove up there. When I went back to the dealership, they decided not to refill my gas tank but to give me a $25 gas card instead, I was fairly upset and was not paying attention to what I was doing, I accidentally dropped the gas cards on my way out the door but it time I realize this and turned around to get it, apparently one of their employees had picked up the gas card and kept for themselves.

So the end result is the letter stating they would lower my interest rate on my next purchase was just a scam to get me into the dealership, the letter stating that I would receive $1100 service department rebate that would be credited towards my purchase was just a scam to get me into the dealership, one of the employees stole the gas card that they gave me. They told me when I purchased the vehicle I would have a month without a payment which they immediately went back on that as well. I went to Sun Toyota and I got sunburned. Sun Toyota in Holiday Florida is nothing more than a den of con-artists, thieves and liars. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy and every month when I make a payment I will make sure that I repost this letter online.
