Beautiful ocean views of the Pacific. It was a very challenging course with very fast greens, hard pan bunkers as they probably have not been raked during the pandemic. The rough/ fescue was thick and even the short rough grabs your clubs. Fairways were hard and fast and very green, excellent condition. I hit the best divots of my life. Breezy winds during my front 9 that picked up even stronger during the back nine about 10-15 mph. Uphill tee shots to downhill scenic greens on a couple par 3s. My only dislike was there were too many blin tee shots, couldn t see end of fairways or see the fairway at all. Very tough if playing for the first time. Pricey green fees at $215 but it was a good experience. Driving was still closed and practice putting green was big with fast greens but no holes. Sub par clubhouse and decent outdoor dining area with grill. Long drive from LA and traffic back home but it was a nice course to play. Voted Top 100 public courses in USA and top 20 in California you have to experience this course.
