My son has been going here since kindergarten. From first grade on I had requested that he get tested for learning disabilities which was never answered. I requested that he be put on an IEP which was never answered. They finally put him on an IEP after a year of telling me that they would put him on one in the fourth grade. The last semester of the fourth-grade; actually not even the last semester- the last week of the fourth grade, they finally put him on an IEP. He is now in fifth grade and struggling. He doesn t want to go to school every single day, he doesn t like the curriculum because he absolutely doesn t understand it and he brings home homework that he has no idea what is going on in the class. There s one person that s helping him with his IEP for two Grades. This school does not advocate for your child if he/she struggles And has learning disabilities. The only thing that actually got them to put my son on an IEP was when he started failing tests for the state. I have actually considered finding an attorney and taking them to court because my son has had a such a miserable experience going to the school and I was never listen to as a parent. Do not put your child in the school!! They promised things that they did not come through with and your child, if he or she has any kind of learning disability, will be overlooked. I know that I am not alone with this feeling.
