Delicious food abounds at Wakame- so long as you get fish. Both the sashimi and the sushi are made with precision and purpose that enhances the flavor experience. You won't find rolls that are mostly rice, or cuts of sashimi so thin you can see through. Portion sizes are appropriate so you can enjoy the food without feeling corpulent.
The atmosphere is subdued, with atmospheric lighting and darker decor. Can be good for groups or dates, though the layout seems a little awkward.
The items that aren't sushi are still good, but not as spectacular as the sushi, creating an odd contrast if you're not into fish.
Overall, Wakame is a fine choice if you're in the mood for sushi at a nice establishment.
