Gazing at the 199 years old masonry archs that support this building I just wonder why old structures can be so long lasting. Masonry or brick arch structure have been used by ancient Romans >2500 years ago. Very few nicely maintained old bldg around HK now. Nice place to enjoy early breakfast even during this hot summer months. Above standard food at acceptable price. Wonderful if you can enjoy a table at the terrace overlooking the Lamma scenery.
