A very impressive building set in lovely grounds. ...

A very impressive building set in lovely grounds. Largest NT house I have visited yet with lots of rooms and lots of furnishings in wonderful condition to see so allow a couple of hours to walk round. Built in 1870 it is younger than most of the NT houses and the Rothschild funding helps support the huge amount of upkeep it requires.
