Took 10 weeks of waiting to get me paid. I've become an unemployment advocate to help others get paid. I just found out DEO is doing a criminal act of holding applicant's money for an overpayment from a claim from years ago, even though DEO owe applicants SUBSTANIALLY more then what applicant owes DEO. The CARES Act-Section 2104 (Page 104) CLEARLY states overpayments should be deducted from state and/or federal money. I have a guy waiting over 15 weeks without a penny because of an overpaymen They just took their disgracefullness to a WHOLE new level by not following federal regulations according to CARES Act for unemployment benefits.
