Team Drive-Away at first seems like an okay company until you run into issues. Their customer service skills are null invoid. In my opinion they need to have a training class on how to retain and treat drivers properly. As I read through some of their previous reviews the impression is given that poor customer service and lack of clear communication is one of the many problems. In addition to unfair company policies that's designed to keep the drivers drawing the short end of stick always.

I know some one who contracts with Team. He has had several issues, for example: loads that are scheduled ready to be picked up, actually being road ready when he's arrives at the shippers;after taking preventative measures to avoid running into any delays. When he calls into the breakdown department he is given these ridiculous company policies quoted to him about having to wait 4hours for the breakdown department to try to resolve the problem.
He chooses not to wait and just move on.

This has just become a waste of money and time. As if drivers should be giving up any of the little money their left with after being dooped into paying expenses to transport someone else's vehicle( I won't get into that idiocy)

I find it mighty interesting how someone sitting in an office, receiving fair pay for a day's work. Has the audacity to tell drivers that they have to wait 4hours minimum before they can get paid on a breakdown issue( which could happen less than more if the person or person's responsible for verifying that the trucks on the ready list, is actually D.O.T road ready to drive, did their job thoroughly) By the way it's just $100 dollars and usually they have to wait until the truck gets delivered by someone before they receive that. AND THAT MAKES SENSE, REALLY???

This is just one example of the lack of care and concern this company has for it's contract drivers.
If anyone is considering applying for them , do your thorough research and do not let the name fool you.
TEAM.....Because Together Everyone Achieves More does not include you the DRIVER!
